Her words: “I am an ex-miss UNWH, and after I was crowned, I got the platform, but before I got the platform I’ve always cared about the environment.

“I am very concerned when it comes to pollution, climate change and the issues we are facing in Nigeria.

“And then if you look at the major global change issues that we are facing not just in Nigeria, around the world, it is climate change and global warming and this two factors are caused by everyday human activities, like burning of fossil fuels, our cars, cutting down trees, gas flaring from the oil companies, pollution, solid waste management, land filling.

“These are the things that cause global change issues, and you can see the disadvantages in flooding, fire outbreaks etc.

“If we don’t fight this climate change and global warming in the next 30 years, I don’t think we will be able to live in this earth, I doubt that.”
