And Emery has come under fire for their performance so far this season which has resulted into asking the former PSG boss to leave.
One fan responded after hearing the news of Willock's win: "You shouldn't be congratulating anyone, just SACK Unai Emery."
"Ffs thought this was the sack tweet. I'm just sitting here waiting for the good news," another added.
A third fan commented: "Even after scoring the wonder goal, Emery still conspired to lose the game through his daft substitutions."
A fourth pleaded with Arsenal to fire the Spaniard: "The biggest GOLAZO would be #EmeryOut #emeryoutnow Keeping him is the biggest own golazo!#AFC #Arsenal"
The Gunners will facing another stern test against high flying Leicester City at the King Power Stadium at the weekend.
Emery's side are six points behind the Premier League top-four position and they will searching for their first win since they beat Bournemouth on October 6.
Their campaign in the Europa League has been a different ball game as they made it through into the last 32 of the competition following win over Vitoria Guimaraes.
