Lines have fallen in pleasant places for Asya Branch, the pretty lady who recently emerged as the winner of the Miss Mississippi USA pageant. Branch who is a scholar and child to an incarcerated father believes and hopes that she can inspire children who suffer the same fate.

The beauty queen also broke a 67-year-old record by becoming the first black woman to wear the prestigious crown. She is set to represent Mississippi in the Miss USA pageant and the winner of the Miss USA pageant will be representing USA in the Miss Universe pageant set to hold on December 8.

Asya who is a native of Booneville, Mississippi, has got the brains too. She graduated from the University of Mississippi and also began taking courses at Harvard University when she was just 17-years-old. Throughout her life, she has defiled all odds and still aims to live an inspiring life.

Meanwhile, 2019 Miss universe pageant is set to hold on December 8 at Tyler Perry Studios in US. The pageant will be the 68th edition of the Miss Universe competition and would have the reigning winner crown the new champion.

Perry launched the multi-billion naira studio recently and it is said to have 12 sound stages dedicated to great actors of colour.
