Nigerian-American Hollywood actress, Annette Ngozi Ilonzeh, is one of the pretty faces to look out for in the movie industry. Having launched her career in 2007, she has appeared in several movies and series that has stamped her stay in the foreign movie industry.
Born to an American mother and a Nigerian father, the African-American actress proudly reflects her heritage with the rich tone of her skin and by bearing the name 'Ngozi' and proudly including it in her official name.
Career wise, Ilonzeh is making giant strides as far as being an actress is concerned. She is known for her role as Maya Ward on the ABC daytime soap opera General Hospital. She also starred as Kate Prince in the short-lived ABC reboot of Charlie's Angels.
In 2007, she made her television debut in an episode of the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother. She had bit roles in the movies He's Just Not That Into You, Miss March and Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief.
She later had a recurring role on shows such as Arrow, Drop Dead Diva and Empire. In 2017, Ilonzeh played Kidada Jones in the biographical drama film All Eyez on Me, and starred in the thriller 'Til Death Do Us Part.
In 2018, she started co-starring as Emily Foster in the NBC drama Chicago Fire.
