Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen continues to shine for his French League side in all competition after stretching his goal tally to nine this campaign.
The 20-year-old Nigerian forward grabbed Lille's only goal in their 4-1 defeat to Valencia in Champions League match day four encounter at Estadio Mestalla on Tuesday, November 5.
Osimhen found the back of the net in the 25th minute after making a solo run into the hosts danger zone before releasing the powerful shot into Jasper Cillessen's goal post.

Although, the goal was not enough to salvage a point for the Ligue 1 side as the Spanish League side found the back of the net four times in the second half to cruise to massive win at the end of the game.
Daniel Parejo equalised for Valencia in the 66th minute through a spot kick while an own goal from Adama Soumaoro in the 82nd minute ensured the hosts take the lead for the first time in the game.
Two minutes later, Geoffrey Kondogbia further increased his side's lead in the 84th minute and Ferran Torres sealed the victory with a late minute strike to end the game 4-1.
However, Osimhen scored his ninth goal of the season in all competitions for the French League giants and his first away goal this season.
It would be recalled that the striker was named Ligue 1 player of the month in September for his impressive performances after beating Islam Slimani and Nicolas Pallois to the award.

According to reports in the French media, the Nigerian international has many suitors with French regional newspaper La Voix du Nord suggesting the Old Trafford giants are just one of the top teams keeping tabs on the Lille striker.
