Bayelsa governorship election: PDP invites Nigerians to its campaign rally
- The PDP has invited Nigerians to its mega rally in Bayelsa state
- Also, the party called on party members, including serving public office holders, to attend the event
- Going further, the party assures Nigerians and Bayelsans that should Diri take over from Dickson, the state would be better for it
Ahead of the coming gubernatorial election in Bayelsa, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has sent an open invitation to Nigerians, to be part of its mega rally.
The rally will be holding at OX Bow lake pavilion, Yenagoa, Bayelsa state on Wednesday, November, 6.
According to party, the rally will mark the climax of its campaign for the Bayelsa state gubernatorial election, Vanguard reports.
The PDP also called on all party members, governors, senators, House of Representatives members, BOT members, NWC and major stakeholders to come out and support the party and its candidate.
Bauchi state governor, Bala Muhammed, will be the chairman of the occasion, while the special guest of honour will be the PDP national chairman, Uche Secondus.
Others expected are Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, a former president of Nigeria, who will be the father of the day. The chief host of the occasion is the governor of Bayelsa, Seriake Dickson.
Going further, the party also assured Nigerians that should Senator Douye Diri take over from Governor Dickson in the forthcoming governorship election in the state, Bayelsa would be the better for it.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported previously that the deputy national publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Yekini Nabena, alleged that the PDP began large-scale manufacturing of fake Permanent Voter Cards ahead of the Bayelsa governorship election.
