- Moussa Dembele of Lyon is now a target for both Manchester United and Chelsea
- The French striker has scored eight goals in Ligue 1 this season for Lyon
- He will cost Man United and Chelsea £71 million to lure him away from Lyon
Moussa Dembele who plays as a striker for French club Lyon has reportedly emerged a target for Premier League side Chelsea who are ready to rival Manchester United for his signature.
Chelsea are currently serving a two window transfer ban which prevented them from signing any player before the 2019/20 Premier League season started.
But the Blues have appealed their ban and they are waiting for a favorable response from the appropriate authority before the January 2020 transfer window opens.
They have a hearing on November 20, and if Chelsea should win their appeal at the Court of Arbitration, then they will be allowed to sign players in January.
According to the report by Daily Mail, former Celtic forward Moussa Dembele is their main target as the Blues want another man who will support Tammy Abraham up front.
Manchester United on the other hand also want to sign the 23-year-old striker so as to support Marcus Rashford after losing Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan.
United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been under pressure this season at Old Trafford in which former Juventus coach Allegri was linked with the job.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan made it clear that he does not believe that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can operate at the required level that is expected from a Man United coach.
Last year when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replaced Mourinho at Old Trafford, he started well, as he went some games unbeaten but United ended up without a trophy.
