Jose Mourinho, Mikel Arteta and Massimilliano Allegri have reportedly been linked with the managerial job at Arsenal as possible replacement for embattled Unai Emery.

Pressure is starting to grow on Arsenal manager Unai Emery after the Gunners were only able to win two games in their last nine Premier League ties.

There have been speculation that Unai Emery has been given a target by Arsenal chiefs with many believing that the Gunners must qualify for the Champions League next term.

According to the report on UK Mirror, ex Manchester United handler Jose Mourinho is topping the list of coaches who could make a move to the Emirates stadium.

Jose Mourinho has been out of coaching job since he was sacked at Manchester United in December 2018.

He is an out-spoken and often controversial character and even once clashed with the Arsene Wenger at Arsenal.

On the other hand, Mikel Arteta played for Arsenal from 2011 to 2016 before going into coaching as he joined Pep Guardiola's staff at Manchester City where he has helped the team to two league titles.

Arteta was even linked with the job after Arsene Wenger left before Gunners' chiefs decided to give it to Unai Emery.

On Allegri, he dominated Italian football with Juventus for five straight seasons before going on a sabbatical and was replaced with Sarri in Turin.

There were also reports of Manchester United considering hiring Allegri as a replacement for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Unai Emery suggested he is not prepared to throw in the towel just yet despite growing pressure to quit as Arsenal boss.

Emery has come under immense scrutiny in recent weeks following a string of poor results, with a section of fans calling for his head.
