Jose Mourinho has been reportedly having backdoor meetings with Arsenal in the past few weeks but the north London club has now come out to deny this.

It was recently reported that Arsenal head of football Raul Sanllehi and Mourinho were seen together having dinner together which fueled speculation.

Mourinho was also in attendance when Arsenal recorded a 3-2 victory over Vitoria Guimaraes in the Europa League.

But according to Sportmail, the Gunners have denied such meetings took place and claimed the pair had not spoken to each other for years.

Unai Emery is under immense pressure following his side's poor string of results, recording two wins in their last nine Premier League games.

Arsenal were forced to a 1-1 draw by Wolves and it was the third time the Emirates outfit will be surrendering their lead to opponents.
