Manchester United: EPL giants omitted in list of 10 most valuable teams in Europe

Manchester United are surprise omission as the list of ten most valuable clubs across Europe was revealed with their Premier League rivals Man City adjudged the team with the best squad value.

According to Transfer Markt, the list was based on a total sum of all the players across European top flights and surprisingly, the Blues beat off competition from European big spenders to sit atop the list with €1.28 billion.

Raheem Sterling's steller form which has seen his market value transfer value increase very steeply to €126 million and other world best figures in the team gave the English champions the edge.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are second and third in the table with €1.19 billion and €1.18 billion respectively having spent a massive money to lure in Eden Hazard and Antoine Griezmann from Chelsea and Atletico Madrid.

European champions Liverpool are fourth on the league with €1.07 billion closely followed by Paris Saint-Germain with value of €1.05 billion.

Tottenham and Bayern Munich sealed the sixth and seventh spot respectively with squad value of €985 million and €883 million.

Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Chelsea were on eighth, ninth and tenth spots with value figures of €873 million, €838 million and 807 million respectively.

Meanwhile, had reported that Anthony Joshua is the tenth highest earning boxer of all time and is net worth £40million, according to a recent study.

The likes of Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather, Wladimir Klitschko, Canelo' Alvarez and Manny Pacquiao are also included in the rich-list.
