- Tinubu has called on Atiku Abubakar to join hands with the APC to move Nigeria forward
- The APC national leader also commended the PDP and Atiku for their resilience
- Going further, he commended Buhari for his victory at the Supreme Court
Shortly after the Supreme Court judgement which permanently stopped the ambition of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to become Nigeria's president in 2019, Sen. Bola Tinubu, national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged Atiku to join hands with the APC in moving Nigeria forward.
The national leader who commended the PDP and Atiku disclosed this in a statement he personally signed.
Going further, Tinubu also congratulated President Buhari and the APC on the victory.
The APC national leader also commended the Supreme Court for dealing with the case competently.
Meanwhile, recall that Legit.ng had earlier reported that Buhari called on the PDP to go back to God.
The president said this in reaction to the Supreme Court judgement which affirmed the ruling of the appeal court that the presidency was legitimately won by his candidacy.
According to Buhari, the opposition had made use of all available means provided by the constitution to challenge his victory and after losing in their quest, the only option left for them to do is to go back to God.
