Buhari to embark on 15-day private visit to London after Saudi Arabia trip
- President Buhari is scheduled to travel to Saudi Arabia for an economic summit on Monday, October 28

- Presidential spokesman Femi Adesina said Buhari will travel to London on Saturday, November 2, and return to Nigeria on Thursday, November 17
President Muhammadu Buhari will be travelling to London, the United Kingdom, on a private visit after attending the Economic Forum of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Femi Adesina, the special adviser to the president on media and publicity, made this known in a statement released on Monday, October 28.
According to the statement, the president will be leaving Nigeria on Monday, October 28, for the economic forum in Saudi Arabia.
Legit.ng gathers that President Buhari is scheduled to meet with King Salman and King Abdullah ll of Jordan during the trip.
The Nigerian president will on Wednesday, October 30, participate in an Africa-themed event alongside his counterparts from other African countries.
Buhari will thereafter travel to the UK on a private visit on Saturday, November 2, and return to Nigeria on Thursday, November 17.

Recall that the president had just returned from Russia where he attended a three-day Russia-Africa summit in Sochi.
The summit was held between October 23 and October 25, and focused on exploring and expanding opportunities in security, trade and investment, science and technology, as well as gas production.
Buhari was accompanied on the trip by Governors Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe, Bello Matawalle of Zamfara and Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti.
Nigerians react
The announcement of President Buhari's trip to Saudi Arabia, days after returning from Russia, has been met with heated mixed reactions from Nigerians.
While some see the trips as an important means of attracting foreign investments to the country, others are of the opinion that the president should not be attending every foreign event he is invited to.
Reacting, Ikenna Ochie, tweeting at @ikoreal2005, expressed delight at the president's "emphasis on attracting real foreign direct investments" to the country.
However, in his own reaction, Gimba Kakanda, tweeting at @gimbakakanda, said the president needs to stay back in the country and start delegating his foreign trips.
