Another building has collapsed in Nigeria. This time, the collapse of the two-storey building occurred at Butcher Street, Terminus Market in Jos North local government area of Plateau state.
The collapse was confirmed by that Plateau Police Command on Sunday, October 27.
According to DSP Terna Tyopev, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the command, no was life lost in the incident nor any casualty recorded.
He also claimed the the area has been condoned off for investigations into the cause of disaster.
Going further, he added that the step taken by the police will also prevent hoodlums from taking advantage of the situation to loot.
Meanwhile, recall that Legit.ng had reported that it was a narrow escape for some residents of a part of the highly populated Ojuelegba area of Lagos as a two-storey building collapsed late Thursday, October 24.
The building collapsed at 8.55 pm just 12 days after a similar occurrence involving a three-storey building at Magodo Phase 1 in the state.
