Defensive pair Luke Shaw (hamstring) and Eric Bailly (knee) are also yet to make a return to team action.

Struggling midfielders Diogo Dalot and Nemanja Matic also remain sidelined, with the latter flying to Dubai to work on his fitness earlier in the week.

Solskjaer could however welcome the return of David De Gea, who missed United's Europa League trip to Partizan.

"We're working very hard to get them fit and hopefully we can get them back soon. I'm not gonna put a deadline but it won't be too long, hopefully," Solskjaer was quoted saying ahead of the Norwich clash.

Meanwhile, the Canaries remain winless since shocking Man City 3-2 back in September, Saturday 14.

Legit.ng had earlier reported that Lionel Messi has been picked ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo as the best player in the world by Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs.

The Wales manager believes the Barcelona superstar is a once in a lifetime talent but will lean on Ronaldo because they played together at Old Trafford.
