President Muhammadu Buhari has wished the Golden Eaglets a successful campaign at the ongoing FIFA U17 World Cup in Brazil.
The number one citizen of the most populous black nation in the world, encouraged the young lads in a message on his Twitter handle as they began their campaign in the South American nation against Hungary.
"Our opening game in Brazil last night was a wonderful display that I am very proud of. Congratulations to the Golden Eaglets! I have no doubt in my mind that they are determined to win the #FIFAU17WC for an unparalleled sixth time."

And Manu Garba's men did not disappoint as Nigeria laboured to a 4-2 victory over the central European country in their first match.
The five-time world champions came back from behind twice through Samson Tijani and Usman Ibrahim as Oluwatimilehin Adeniyi put Nigeria in front before Tijani completed his brace to seal the win.
And the Minister for youth and sports Sunday Dare who watched the match live from his residence, posted photos of his goal-celebrations and congratulated the Nigerian team for their resilience.
