Once could say, the Nigerian flavour is not only in the jollof rice but also in designs of native wears. Recently, Chief economist at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Nigeria, Andrew S. Nevin, got initiated when he posed in a vibrant ankara kaftan.
In a post shared on his Twitter page, he announced that the style was made by his tailor who he identified as Tunde.
In the post, he said he had promised that he was going to upgrade his Nigerian wear. He appears to have achieved his goal.
It's refreshing to see a foreigner fall in love with everything Nigerian and make it a point of duty to proudly show off new discoveries. Needless to say, Nevin looked dapper in his ankara outfit and many can testify to that.
Dr. Andrew S. Nevin holds a PhD in economics from Harvard, an MA in philosophy and politics from Oxford and a BSc (Hon): Computer Science and Mathematics.
