Ebere Eze is close to getting an invitation from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to feature for the Super Eagles.
The Queens Park rangers midfielder has been recording eye-catching performances in the Championships this season and his most recent was in the 2-2 draw against Reading.
And the NFF are not taking chances after losing Chelsea duo of Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori to the Three Lions.

According to Soccernet, a top NFF official disclosed that the England U20 international had once visited the Super Eagles camp in London and the scouts are monitoring his progress.
“Yes Ebere Eze is doing very well for QPR and it’s good news for us. Besides, he has come to the Super Eagles camp before when we went to play in London. Our scout knows him very well. Nigerians should not be too anxious and put him under undue pressure.” the top source told Soccernet.ng.
“There is always space for a good player in a team, most especially like the team we are building at the moment. We believe that at the right time he will be giving the chance to play for the Super Eagles.”
The 21-year-old has scored eight goals already this season for QPR and with more improved performances the door will be wide open for the attacking midfielder to join the Nigerian team.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Samuel Chukwueze has reportedly agreed a new four year deal that will keep him at Villarreal until the summer of 2023.
According to Spanish news media outlet AS, the contract will have €100million as release clause in its first two years and €80m in the final two years.
