Daniel Akpeyi: Fan rates Super Eagles goalkeeper better than Liverpool's Allison Becker
Daniel Akpeyi has been hailed by a fan for his heroics during Kaizer Chiefs round of 16 Telkom knockout game against Cape Town City.
The Super Eagles goalkeeper saved two spot kicks during the shootouts while the scores was at 1-1 after regulation time and also made some incredible saves in the match.
Kaizer Chiefs eventually won the match 4-2 on penalties and Akpeyi's performance overall earned him the man-of-the-match award as he steered the Amakhosi in the quarter finals.

The 30-year-old who was heavily criticized by fans in the early part of season got plaudits and one fan went as far as rating him of the same level with Liverpool goalkeeper Allison Becker.
Akpeyi has not been recalled into the Super Eagles squad since the team came third at the AFCON 2019 tournament in Egypt.
