Super Eagles proposed international friendly with Germany reportedly suffer huge setback

Super Eagles proposed friendly against the four-time world champions Germany was not granted by the European side.

According to Sporting Life, the football agent attached to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), requested for an international meeting between both nations.

But what would have been Grade A international friendly with the European powerhouse did not materialize ahead of the monthly FIFA-free window in November.

The reason is because the Germans will be busy executing their Euro 2020 qualifiers.

The three-time African champions have boosted their CV after AFCON 2019 campaign following respective draw against Ukraine and Brazil.

Gernot Rohr's men played out a 2-2 draw with Andriy Shevchenko's side in September and also forced five-time world champions to a 1-1 draw in October.
