Oyemykke explained that many men send him messages about what they are going through and they tell him that they cannot talk to anyone about it. According to him, it is so bad that they cannot even tell their wives how they feel because they see it as a weakness.

Encouraging men to stop conforming to the standards of the society, Oyemykke said that they are allowed to feel weakly.

He said: "The community tells them to take it in, you are a man. It is time to change the narrative. It is time for all the fragile masculinity shields to go in the bin. If you are a man, and you’re feeling weak, you are allowed to feel weak. You are allowed to be broke, don’t let them kill you."
