And with Ousmane Dembele struggling with injuries and form since his summer move from Dortmund in 2017, Chukwueze looks like the right candidate to fill in the void.
Villarreal recently placed a massive €63million buy-out clause on the Nigerian's contract which is a cheaper alternative to Neymar.
The 20-year-old made his mark for the Yellow Submarines in the 2018-19 season and went on to consolidate his performance with the Super Eagles at AFCON 2019 tournament.
He has already scored two goals in seven appearances in the current campaign and got nominated into the 40-man Golden Boy shortlist.

The 29-year-old was part of the Super Eagles squad that won the AFCON 2013 tournament in South Africa under late Stephen Keshi.
