Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi meets with south-east governors, religious and socio-cultural leaders in the zone and ends at the Government House, Enugu state, resolving to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari, on the welfare of the people.
The decision was disclosed by the chairman of the south-east Governors Forum and governor of Ebonyi state, Engr David Umahi, who briefed newsmen alongside the host governor, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, governor of Abia state, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, deputy governor of Imo state, Hon Gerald Irona, senate minority leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, Ohanaeze Ndigbo President-General, Chief Nnia Nwodo, Senator Victor Umeh, Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev Dr Callistus Onaga, Archbishop Christopher Ede of Methodist Church Nigeria, Enugu, among others.
Governor Ugwuanyi after the meeting used the opportunity to showcase to his colleagues and other Igbo leaders present, the 100 units of Innoson Hilux vans fully installed with communication gadgets, which were recently procured by his administration for the security agencies in the state to effectively discharge their duties.
