Legit.ng earlier reported the huge news of American actor and producer, Tyler Perry, launching his N90 billion studio located in Atlanta, G.A, USA. The 330 acres multifaceted film studio has 12 sound stages dedicated to great actors of colour.
However, the best part is that Perry will be the first to build and own a black fully-owned studio in America. It is why the launch of the studio was such a huge event that former US president and secretary of state, Bill and Hillary Clinton were present to celebrate the historical moment.
In a recent post shared on Instagram, Perry thanked the powerful couple for gracing the event with their presence and stated that he couldn't express how much joy he felt that they were there to mark the special moment in history with him and other actors of colour as well as white ones.
As far as achievements go, Perry hit the jackpot with building his studio as he also got a congratulatory message from former first lady, Michelle Obama, who sent love and expressed how proud she was of him for building and creating a historical monument.
Meanwhile, Tyler Perry is set to build a compound for homeless women and displaced youth on the land where his studio is located.
In an interview, Perry revealed that the compound will serve as a place for women and youths to be trained in the business.
