Legit.ng had reported two years ago that a reverend father Patrick Henry Edet quit the priesthood to get married. At the time, the reverend identified as Patrick Henry Edet had expressed that he was now free.
Edet had also left the Catholic Church and asked people to address him as Reverend. It seems Edet got his wish and got married.
Two years after quitting, congratulations are in order for the reverend and his wife, Iyene. The couple recently welcomed a beautiful baby girl and took the baby girl to church on Sunday, October 13, for dedication.

The dedication took place at Gram Family, also known as Commonwealth of Champions, in Ibom Hall, on IBB Avenue, Uyo, Akwa Ibom state.

Legit.ng came across the beautiful news after Facebook user Uwem Kems shared photos from the dedication his page. He revealed that the baby girl's name is Mbiet Yaweh.
Kems also stated that Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom state was a special guest at the dedication.
