Brazil vs Nigeria: Super Eagles confirm readiness to face Selecao in international friendly

Super Eagles of Nigeria have confirmed their readiness for the coming much anticipated international friendly against five-time world champions Brazil.

The Eagles took to their official social media page to share photos of the Nigerian players who will face Brazil on Sunday, October 13.

In the photos posted, the likes of Alex Iwobi, Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze and Shehu Abdullahi can be seen in training with full energy preparing for the tie.

This will be the first time that virtually all the current Super Eagles players will be facing Brazil in an encounter expected to be tough.

Brazil are expected to parade the like of Marcelo, Neymar, Roberto Firmino and Willian against three-time African champions Nigeria.

“Brazil is a top team, probably the best team in the world, but Senegal gave them a good fight on Thursday.

''We can pick some inspiration from that performance when we play the Brazilians on Sunday.

“It will be tough because they will want to win at least one game against an African team on this tour, but we will also want to take something off them,'' Ekong explained according to NFF.

Earlier, had reported how Super Eagles gaffer Gernot Rohr rubbished reports that he is planning to leave his team after their international friendly match against Brazil in Singapore.

There have been reports that Gernot Rohr is not happy with the eggheads at the Nigeria Football Federation for saying they are owing him only one month salary.
