- Paul Pogba might miss Man United Premier League clash against Liverpool
- The Frenchman has been out of action after suffering an ankle injury which kept him out of Newcastle defeat
- Reports claim he could remain on the sidelines for another three weeks
Manchester United record signing Paul Pogba is doubtful for his side's crunch Premier League clash against Liverpool at Old Trafford next weekend.
The Frenchman was not part of the squad that suffered 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United at Saint James' Park in their last outing with Matthew Longstaff scoring the only goal of the game.
Pogba was also missing when France beat Iceland in one of the Euro 2020 qualifiers on Friday, October 11 - as Chelsea outcast Olivier Giroud scoring the only goal from the penalty spot.
The midfielder however posted a video on social media with one leg heavily bandaged while he continues his recovery process.
While posting the short clip, the Red Devils star, who has been under immense criticism added a caption saying: "Almost there, show off or motivation you choose ? Same result at the end anyway ♂️#enjoyworking.
Meanwhile, Goal.com reports that Les Blues boss Didier Deschamps hinted that the former Juventus star could be out for about three weeks.
Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has no contrary opinion after admitting that the attacker would be racing against the clock to make it back in time for the clash.
"He probably won’t be available on Sunday,” Solskjaer signalled prior to the Newcastle match.
