Paris-Saint-Germain superstar Neymar has finally explained why he is being treated specially at the Brazilian national senior men football team.

The former Barcelona star claimed that he is being given preferential treatment because he has been one of the most important players for Brazil in the last 10 years.

Neymar also used his former teammate at Barcelona Lionel Messi to explain how important he is at the Brazilian national team.

Neymar explained that Lionel Messi has preferential treatment at Barcelona, but claimed that the Argentine is being treated well not because he is handsome, but what he has done.

''I've been in the national team for 10 years.

"I've always been one of the most important players and one of those who has led the way, as I never hid and I always did well with the national team,'' Neymar explained according to Marca.

He continued: "When a player has this performance, it's normal to have a different treatment.

"At Barcelona, Messi has a different treatment."Does he have it for being more handsome?

"No, it is for what he has done.

"I say this not only for myself, but for all the players that reach this level."

The 27-year-old also revealed that he wanted to leave Paris-Saint-Germain last summer, but he had to stay because of how Barcelona failed to meet up with PSG's asking price.

"I am happy, both in the national team and in the club. Everyone knows that I wanted to leave, but I am happy now,'' Neymar added.
