A Nigerian man identified by his Twitter handle as @Satirony has shared his thoughts on marriage and how it affects men and women in many countries.
According to him, marriage is built to benefit men far more than women. He explained that in many marital relationships, while men are only concerned with providing financially for the family, women, who may also have their career to tend to, are also saddled with the responsibility of ensuring the smooth running of the family.

@Satirony said in situations like this, men are supposed to step in and help their wives. He urged men to observe the areas where their wives are doing more than they are and compensate them for it.
He explained that men need to consciously ensure that they are doing more to make up for the unseen things that their wives will most likely be doing.
Noting that many parents just like his are guilty of the kind of the relationship where the woman doing most work in the home, @Satirony said he refuses to have such a relationship with his wife.
