- The Spaniard believes Phil Foden will be an ideal replacement for David Silva
Pep Guardiola has named Phil Foden as the only Manchester City player the Premier League champions cannot sell for any amount even for 500 million euros.
Despite struggling to break into Manchester City's first team this season, Phil Foden has committed his future to the Etihad club.
David Silva is expected to leave Manchester City at the end of the season, and Pep Guardiola believes that 19-year-old Phil Foden will be a good replacement.
Guardiola also confirmed that the Englishman has a good future at Manchester City and will not be leaving.

“We didn’t give Foden a new contract by accident.
“He is the only player that can’t be sold under any circumstances, the only one. Not even for 500m euros.
"Phil’s going nowhere. He is City and we won’t be signing anyone else for that position,'' Guardiola explained according to UK Sun.
Meanwhile, Manchester City are currently occupying second position on the Premier League standings with 16 points after eight games.
