- Fans criticised AY for congratulating BBNaija winner Mercy

- According to fans, AY should keep his congratulations to himself because he had previously called for Mercy's disqualification

The BBNaija reality show has come to an end but not without the usual drama that comes after every season of the show. On October 6, 2019, Mercy was announced as the reality show winner with 41% votes from viewers.

Many fans and celebrities trooped to Mercy's page to congratulate her as they celebrated her win. However, fans were quick to notice those who previously did not celebrate her now wishing her well.

Nigerian comedian, AY Makun, came under fire from fans after he congratulated Mercy on winning the BBNaija show. Fans were quick to slam the comedian as they reminded him of when he called for Mercy's disqualification in the past. See the post below:

Recall that AY had shared his opinion on the fight Mercy had with another housemate, Tacha. She had been disqualified from the game for violence after she yanked Mercy's hair on two occasions and also shoved her. Mercy on the other hand was given two strikes.

AY Makun, is part of the few people who felt Tacha’s disqualification was uncalled for. He expressed in an Instagram live video that he is not in support of Biggie’s decision. He also added that Mercy attempted the real violence when she picked an object to attack Tacha with.
