Nigerian-Irish student Adedolapo Idowu scores 9 As in junior certificate examination

First black woman to be elected into county council in Ireland, Councillor Yemi Adenuga, has celebrated the great feat of Nigerian-Irish student, Adedolapo Idowu, who emerged with amazing grades in her junior certificate exams.

In a Facebook post, Adenuga sent her congratulations to Idowu and her mother who were captured shedding tears of joy over the result. According to Irishexaminer, over 64,000 students received their results on October 4 and 19 out of all the students scored 11 As.

Idowu, however, also made impressive result after scoring 9 straight As and scoring high merits in other subjects. Her mother stated that she was proud of her daughter's achievement and revealed that the young brilliant girl is looking to study medicine in the near future.

Meanwhile, a Nigerian man identified as Paul Anejodo has been celebrated by his family after he became a medical doctor.

The young man, who was sick as a child, has now become a doctor who takes care of the sick.

Legit.ng came across his story after his sister, Melissa Giebel, celebrated him on social media. Giebel took to her Facebook page to celebrate her brother's achievement by narrating the story of his struggles.
