Toyosi Akerele-Ogunsiji is another citizen the country is really proud of as she has had many achievements in different aspects of human lives.

According to her public profile on Wikipedia, she was born on November 8, 1983. She is a person who is very passionate about building human capacity and how it could be used to make lives better.

No wonder therefore that Toyosi’s core interests also cover areas such as education, social entrepreneurship and leadership. She created Rise Networks, a youth focused organisation that uses technology to create learning opportunities to aid young people’s mental growth.

Toyosi is also the founder of a mobile learning platform, Passnownow, that gives students access to syllabus-based materials. The portal is also very resourceful to teachers too.

It should be noted that in 2011, the former first lady of America, described her as one of the sources of her inspiration. In 2014, Forbes also named her as one of the 20 most powerful young women in Africa.

Added to those accolades, the Nigerian woman got the much coveted MTV Africa Music Awards nomination.

Toyosi has experience in the downstream sector as she in 2007 worked with Oando Oil and Gas PLC. After then, she also served with the Ministry of Youths and Social Development in Ogun state.

She got her first degree from the University of Jos in April 2007 before she proceeded to Cambridge University to study strategic management. Later on, she went on to study digital marketing at the UK Institute of Digital Marketing.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Kofo Akinkugbe is the owner of the first sim production plant in Nigeria called SecureID Nigeria Ltd, a company which focuses smart card technology and digital security.
