Many Nigerians marked the 59th year post-independence in different ways. Actress Iyabo Ojo, looked stunning as she rocked a white and green dress and shared a lengthy post in which she discussed Nigeria.
Ordinarily, only Nigerians, mostly patriotic ones, will attempt to wear the colour of the Nigerian flag on October 1, to mark the special day but just recently, it was noticed that American singer, Kelly Rowland was feeling the colours of the day in her home.
Looking like a premium quality Nigerian flag, the singer posed in a green and white outfit as Nigerians celebrated Independence Day.
Almost as if Rowland's alter ego is Nigerian, she looked stunning in the photos which she shared on her Instagram page.
Though Rowland did not add any caption, Nigerians are assuming she was wishing the country a happy independence celebration.
Meanwhile, Mercy Aigbe took to her Instagram page to share gorgeous photos of herself also rocking a green and white themed outfit just like the Nigerian flag.
Aigbe then wished Nigeria a happy 59th birthday in her caption. She wrote: “Happy Independence Day to my beloved country Nigeria.”
