Nigeria has suffered another disaster as gunmen stormed a private secondary school in Kaduna state and kidnapped six school girls and two teachers.
According to Premium Times, who quoted the school’s bursar, Elvis Allah-Yaro, the criminals stormed Engravers College, a mixed-gender school in Sabo, Chikun local government area, at about 12:10 a.m on Thursday, October 3.
Going further, the bursar disclosed that investigation and search have commenced over the kidnap.
“Security personnel have started investigation and search for the girls and the two staff members.
Meanwhile, the Kaduna police said it could not comment on the development immediately.
In another report by Legit.ng on Tuesday, October 1, hundreds of gunmen were said to have crossed through Anka and Maru local government area in Zamfara state.
The gunmen were numbered in their hundreds and all dressed in Nigerian military uniform.
Sources within the local government areas said the bandits numbering over 500 moved in a convoy around the communities.
