Kindhearted lady comes to aid of elderly stranger, gives him cash to treat his sick child

- A Nigerian lady recently narrated her touching encounter with a stranger with members of the internet community

- The lady disclosed how she met a man crying by the roadside and how she comforted him, before finding out what went wrong

- According to her, the individual had lost his source of income and had no means of getting funds for his sick son

- The good Samaritan shared how she eventually helped the man with the assistance of a third party

A Nigerian lady identified as Iphie Alfred recently treated members of the internet community to a touching narration of her encounter with a stranger.

According to Alfred, she was on her way to Aswani market when she saw an elderly man sobbing heavily in front of a police station. She said she was tempted to keep moving and mind her business, however, was prompted to do otherwise after the bike man she was riding with called on the elderly man to man up and stop crying.

Alfred said she approached the individual, hugged him and joined him in crying, even before finding out the reason for his tears. She narrated how passersby kept staring at them, until a third party drove past and stopped his car, after seeing both of them.

Upon the arrival of the third individual, the elderly man opened up about the reason for his tears.

"His wife is late and left two little children for him one of the kids was seriously ill and he was trying to make some money to buy pills from the local store when police stopped him and seized his bike for refusing to give them some money," Alfred narrated.

Explaining the touching encounter with the man further, the kindhearted lady explained how she and the third individual that joined them managed to retrieve the old man’s bike from the police officers, and also gave him funds to take care of his ailing son.

She ended her narration by calling out to other men reading her post, that it is okay to cry and feel bad because they are simply humans after all.
