Headies: Reactions as awards nomination list hits internet
The Hip Hop World Awards popularly called the Headies is around the corner and Nigerian artistes, as well as fans, are eager for different reasons.
The entertainers anticipate being nominated for worthy awards and also carrying the trophy home while fans see it as an opportunity to campaign for their faves and also argue on social media if they do not emerge successfully.
Well, the award show has not yet taken place but Nigerians on social media already seem to have a lot to say about it. The topic of discussion is primarily focused on the nomination list and how they feel some artistes are too big for the categories they were placed in.
Some fans wondered why hit maker, Naira Marley was not featured in any category on the nomination list as others complained that zanku stars, Zlatan Ibile, is too bbig of an artiste to be placed in the next rated category alongside Rema, Joe Boy, Fire Boy, Victor AD, and Lyta.
