- N'golo Kante is back in training for Chelsea after missing Brighton clash
- The Frenchman could be a part of the squad to face Lille in their Champions League match day two clash in France
- Frank Lampard's men suffered 1-0 defeat to Valencia in their opening day fixture last month
Chelsea superstar N'golo Kante has handed his club a boost ahead of their Champions League clash against Lille after returning to full training.
The Frenchman was not included in the squad that defeated Brighton & Hove Albion 2-0 in last weekend's Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge.
He scored his first goal of the EPL season in their 2-1 slim defeat to European champions Liverpool - making the second time they will lose to the Reds this season.
The Blues'first defeat to the Merseyside was when they were beaten 5-4 on penalties after both sides played 2-2 in a match that lasted 120 minutes.
Kante, who has been in and out of the pitch owing to series of injuries has now made full recovery and could feature in their second European outing in France on Wednesday.
And Chelsea boss, Frank Lampard, will hope the return of the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner will boost their confidence as they hope to return to win their first match in Europe this week.
Although, the club legend earlier admitted that the Frenchman would not be rushed back to action despite his bright start to the current campaign.
He said: "My feeling is that he has played a lot and that's because he has been so successful and so important to the teams he has been in. At the minute, he has injuries.
"This little niggle he had is a small, small injury. We just need to get it right. We are just careful and it is my duty to work with him. The medical team are working so hard with him.
"I have been there as a player and, if you miss a pre-season through an injury in particular, then you are playing catch-up."
Chelsea suffered a 1-0 defeat at Stamford Brige to Valencia in their opening group game and would aim for victory in a bid to get their second round qualification process back on track.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Spanish League giants Real Madrid have agreed a deal to sign Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante in the January transfer window.
Los Blancos were linked with a move to sign Paul Pogba this summer but his Premier League club Manchester United refused to allow him leave.
Although, the World Cup winner made it known to them that he wanted out of his contract at Old Trafford despite having two more years on his deal.
