- Keisuke Honda has offered to help Man United out of their poor performances so far
- The Red Devils have only won two of their opening six Premier League matches this season
- Honda is a free-agent but has featured for the likes of CSKA Moscow and AC Milan in the past
Keisuke Honda, Japanese football legend, is offering to play for Manchester United after their not too decent run in current campaign.
According to post on Twitter, the Japanese legend is willing to play for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side for free, as they have won only two of their opening six Premier League games this term.
Man United are placed 11th on the log after a disastrous defeat to West Ham last timeout, but are preparing for another tough game against rivals Arsenal on Monday evening, September 29.
Already, the fans are worried after the players’ poor show during their Carabao Cup third round penalty shootout win over Rochdale on Wednesday, September 18.
Most of the fans are eager for the Red Devils to land new players during the winter transfer window in January.
However, the 33-year-old Japanese play-maker Honda, believes he still has what it takes to improve the fortunes of the Old Trafford dwellers.
Honda is currently without a club since leaving Melbourne Victory in May.
At the last count, Honda, who has earned 98 caps for Japan, featured for the likes of CSKA Moscow and AC Milan.
And Honda is hoping Solskjaer offer him a chance to show what he can offer.
“Give me an offer. I don’t need money but I need to play with great team and great team mate! @Man Utd,” Honda tweeted.
Legit.ng reported earlier that Arsenal legend, Paul Merson, has warned the club will suffer a humiliating defeat should Unai Emery get his tactics wrong when they face Man United at Old Trafford.
United are scheduled to host Arsenal in a mouthwatering Premier League clash on Monday night, September 30.
