Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid played out a goalless draw in a tough La Liga fixture on Saturday, September 28, at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium.

But it was Atletico Madrid who had the first real chance of the game as Joao Felix was picked out with a long ball in the 8th minute. The youngster did well to bring down the ball with his head but flashed his effort wide from a tight angle.

The Catalans were without their captain Lionel Messi who lasted just 45 minutes in their 2-1 win over Villarreal earlier in the week due to injury.
