Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly revealed that he is waiting in line to return to Santiago Bernabeu as Real Madrid boss.

The Portuguese born manager was sacked by the Red Devils last December having failed to improve the performances of his player in all competitions.

Mourinho, who spent three seasons at the Spanish League side between 2010 and 2013, is now eyeing a return to the Spanish capital on coaching capacity.

The 'Special One' as he is fondly referred to has turned down offers from Monaco, Lille, Wolfsburg, Schalke and AC Milan between May and September.

While Mourinho was hoping to get jobs from either of Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Bayern Munich.

But that dream became impossible after the above mentioned clubs decided to keep fate with their managers regardless of performances last campaign.
