According to Give Me Football citing Ultimo Uomo report, Ronaldo had a decent performance in his first season in Italy, netting 15 goals in 24 matches for Juventus in 2019.

But the forward appears to be slowing down by his standard as he nears 35 next February.

Interestingly, having smashed various goals record in England and Spain, the Portuguese superstar now has one embarrassing record after his first year in Serie A.

Ronaldo, who joined Juventus from Real Madrid in summer last year, has been statistically rated the second worst free-kick taker in Serie A record books.

A further breakdown of the figures revealed that Ronaldo has not netted from 18 previous attempts in Serie A.

At the last count, only Camillo Ciano, who featured for Frosinone last campaign, went a step further at 21 without netting.

In all, Ronaldo has failed to score in 24 free-kicks including the Champions League, meaning he could not get past the wall 15 times, missed the target twice and had his strike at goal saved by the shot-stopper seven times.

Legit.ng reported earlier that Cristiano Ronaldo should have beaten Lionel Messi to The Best FIFA men's player award claims Fabio Paratici, Juventus sporting director, speaking after the ceremony on Monday, September 23, in Milan.

At the end of the ceremony, the Barcelona talisman Messi clinched the honour for the first time, while Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk and Juve striker Ronaldo finished second and third respectively.
