Infinite, which is an adaptation of the 2009 novel The Reincarnationist Papers, tells the story of a group of men and women who are near immortals. They have been reincarnated over the centuries called the Infinite.
Ejiofor will play the role of Evan Michaels, an infinite, who suffers from schizophrenia and is haunted by his two past lives
Michaels stumbles on a secret about a society of people like himself called the cognomina who possess total recall of their past lives. The villain who is also an infinite has found a way to stop the reincarnation process and plans to use it on his kind
Infinite has been scheduled to begin shooting on September 30, in London and set for release on August 7, 2020.
To defeat an evil mastermind, the group must rely on a man who suffers from schizophrenia and who will have to learn that all his vivid dreams are actually memories from past lives in order to defeat the villain.
Other cast of the movie include Mark Wahlberg, Dylan O'Brien and Rupert Friend and Jason Mantzoukas.
Ejiofor voiced the evil Scar in Disney and Jon Favreau’s remake of The Lion King. He is expected to be in Disney’s Maleficent, Mistress of Evil, and others.
