Everton striker Theo Walcott seems to have aimed a dig at Manchester United assistant manager Michael Carrick in a video clip.

The former Arsenal forward described the Red Devils legend as a 'tall but slow midfielder' during his playing days.

Walcott joined the Toffees from the Gunners three season ago and has scored nine goals and five assists in 57 appearances for the Merseyside outfit.

The England international, who welcomed former Gunners teammate, Alex Iwobi to the Goodison Park this summer both aimed a joke at the ex-midfielder.

According to Daily Star, the duo were playing a game “Who Am I”, where both stars penned down name of a celebrity which they tape on their fore head and guess who it was.

The publication revealed that Walcott chose Carrick but apparently, the Super Eagles winger struggled to guess the name.

However, Walcott tried giving his teammate a clue saying: "He’s a Man United coach,” the forward says. “Can’t run very fast. “Midfielder, tall.”

The Manchester United assistant captain played over 450 matches for the Old Trafford outfit before hanging his boots in 2018.
