Arsenal fans have shown no sympathy for midfielder Granit Xhaka despite explanation that he has been playing through the pain barrier with Achilles injury.

It was on Sunday, September 8, Granit Xhaka got injured while playing for Switzerland in their Euro 2020 qualifier against Gibraltar.

"I’ve been suffering from Achilles tendon pain for a few weeks now. I felt it during the game.

"It hurts now, but it should be okay otherwise,'' Xhaka explained.

But Arsenal faithfuls were not not concerned about the reported injury thereby blasting Granit Xhaka on social media.

"Switzerland chasing a goal with 30 seconds to go, and Xhaka gives away a stupid foul to kill their momentum loool,'' a fan explained according to UK Sun.

Another called Matt posted a video of Lionel Messi celebrating with the words: "Xhaka has injured his Achilles?"

Meanwhile, Arsenal are currently occupying fifth position on the Premier League standings with seven points after four games.
