Paul Pogba has been tipped by Sergio Ramos to join Real Madrid despite missing out on the French midfielder in last summer's window.

Los Blancos captain believes the Manchester United midfielder would bring balance into the shaky Zinedine Zidane's team.

The 26-year-old was Zidane's prime target last season but the World Cup winner ended up staying at Old Trafford after Real could not meet United's £150million asking price.

But the Spanish giants are expected to renew their interest in subsequent transfer windows and Ramos believes Pogba's inclusion would profit the club massively.

“I think Real Madrid always has the door open for good players such as him," Ramos told The Express .

“For me, Pogba is one of the great players.

“He is different and he has shown his value at Juventus and now Manchester United .”

He continued: “I think he brings balance to a team.”

“He has a great offensive influence and he has this amazing physique.”

Pogba has played all four matches for the Red Devils this season and has come under several verbal attacks from the fans on social media.

The Frenchman missed a penalty in United's draw with Wolves at the Molineux and resulted into racist abuses from different quarters.

The 26-year-old is currently absent from France Euro 2020 squad after picking up a knock during their last Premier League match against Southampton.

He missed Les Bleus' 4-1 win over Albania and will also play no part in his country's Euro 2020 qualifier with Andorra on Tuesday, September 10.
