Xenophobia: Wizkid urges Nigerians to fight the real problem, the government

- Nigerian singer, Wizkid, has taken to Twitter to condemn the after effects of xenophobia in South Africa

- The Star Boy expressed his disappointment at some celebs whose comments might fuel the hate

- According to Wizkid, this is the time to use their heads because people are dying for real

- Wizkid continued that people are preaching hate on social media and not fighting the real problem; government, poverty and education

The recent xenophobic attack in South Africa has led to serious outcry on social media particularly from Nigerian celebrities. Quite a number of celebs have reacted to the issue even though they seem to have different opinions on it.

Top singer, Wizkid, has taken to his online platform to warn other celebrities to be careful of their utterances at this delicate time because people are dying and it may lead to more deaths.

According to the star boy, he has seen many insensitive comments from celebs and he is disappointed because this is not the time to fight and point fingers as people are actually dying as a result.

Tweeting further, Wizkid urged Nigerians to fight the real problems which he termed as the government, poverty and education. See his tweet below:

Well, this is coming shortly after Legit.ng reported that Afro-fusion star, Burna Boy, promised to attack South African rapper, AKA, for his comments on the xenophobic attack. Burna also dragged Nigerian star, MI, for defending AKA.

The Ye crooner also explained that the alleged terrible videos he saw from the attack in SA broke his heart as he called on Nigerians to protect themselves at all times.
