Bobrisky: Social media goes ablaze over unconfirmed reports of police stopping birthday party

- A video making the rounds online suggests that the party venue is currently on lock-down by the police

Popular Nigerian cross-dress Idris Okuneye popularly known as Bobrisky, is currently the topic of discussion on several social media platforms in the country.

An unidentified social media user via a video post, claimed that the 28-year-old who is supposed to host friends and family to a lavish birthday party, is currently on the run and avoiding arrest by officers of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF).

In the video shared, patrol vehicles and policemen could be spotted stationed in front of the venue that should have been buzzing with guests that have traveled from far and away for the event.

The individual also claimed that some people who were at the event centre have already been arrested.

Recall that Legit.ng earlier gathered that the young man flooded his social media page with pre-birthday photos and a video of the party venue, during the early hours of Saturday, August 31.

Similarly, Bobrisky had previously had an altercation with Otunba Olusegun Runsewe, the Director-General of National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC), who described him as a national disgrace and vowed that he would be dealt with if caught on the streets.

In response to being labelled as such, Bobrisky took to his Instagram account with a subtle message directed to Runsewe. He dared him to follow through with his threats and see how much clout he (Bobrisky) really has.
