- The young corps member had been disappointed by a man who was supposed to get her a job after her NYSC
The Nigerian labour market is no doubt bursting with young and talented graduates. However, it is never easy to secure a job in the country.
A young corps member, Yun Garba, was apparently disappointed by a man who was supposed to help her get a job after NYSC. The man, even though married, expressed interest in having Garba as his woman. She declined and the man was no longer forthcoming with the job.
This obviously saddened Garba and her mother decided to cheer her up. The corps member explained in her tweet that her mother, who was out of town, visited her at the office just to sing for her.
The woman was heard singing 'my baby my honey' just to make her daughter smile and feel happy again. See photos below:
Garba also shared a video of the sweet moment on the microblogging site. See her tweet and the video below:
In other news, Legit.ng reported that a honest corps member called the attention of NYSC after he was mistakenly paid twice in a month.
According to Muhammad, he received his July allowance of N19,800 in the morning of Wednesday, July 31, which he withdrew from his account. Then, in the evening of that day, he was credited with the same amount again.
