For a while now, many citizens have shared gruelling experiences they have had with the Nigerian police in which most of them end up being harassed, beaten up or worse killed extra judicially or through a stray bullet.

Given the several accounts of police brutality being reported every other day, many citizens are starting to believe that the Nigerian police are waging war on the people and some are not taking it very likely.

Just recently, Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye, shared a series of posts on Instagram in which he appeared to be ranting about the Nigerian police. Okoye put up screenshot images of two of the latest victims of police brutality and ineptitude and stated that the officers are a 'bunch of illiterates.'
