- A white man has started a debate online with respect to the penchant of Africans settling for white weddings
- The white man, who identifies himself as White Man Confession posed a number of questions to that effect
- The man wondered how weddings were being organised in Africa prior to the arrival of the British and others to Africa
A white man who uses the social media name White Man Confession has generated controversy online with a question he posed to Africans about weddings.
In his opinion, weddings are traditional to the white people and he is therefore at a loss as to why Africans have developed a penchant for it.
He went ahead to ask if there is no African way of getting married or if there were no weddings in Africa before the whites arrived in Africa.
He went ahead to ponder if the traditional way of getting married was a shame to Africans and therefore white weddings became the next line of action.
His comment, as shared on Facebook, a social media platform, generated reactions from some Ghanaians:
To Singer, it is a big issue.
To Era, it is now the way to go.
Steve was simply surprised at the developing trend.
Franklin wondered if the ladies are listening.
In other news, Legit.ng reported that a Ugandan musician left the country's vice president speechless with her dance moves at a recent event.
It all started when the female singer approached dignitaries armed with her microphone and an oddly flexible waist.
Then, as people watched, she whined and twisted her body like a snake as the state’s deputy watched in complete shock.
